<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative actuation brake of a motor in which brake generating torque is improved by including a brake in a motor flange of magnetic material and eliminating leakage flux from an armature. SOLUTION: In a negative actuation brake of a motor which includes a brake in a motor flange 11 of magnetic material, beveling is largely applied to the internal and the external diameters of an armature 60. Magnetic resistance between the motor flange 11 and the internal and the external diameters of the armature 60 is increased, and leakage flux is reduced. Thereby magnetic attraction force which attracts the armature 60 to the motor flange 11 side is increased, and a spring force of a spring 17 which presses a brake disk can be increased, so that brake generating torque is increased.</p> |
