In a wound capacitor connecting leads 2 are brought out from the inner ends of the conductive foils 3 at opposite end faces of the capacitor, and the usual blind dielectric tape starting windings extend a maximum of one and a half turns or are dispensed with, in which case the inner ends of the dielectric tapes and the inner end of one conductive foil are coterminuous. The dielectric tapes may be of stretched polystyrene and are of the same width as the conductive foils. |
