PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide device of the upper part of a sliding door having both functions of correcting inclination of the sliding door and of controlling the sliding condition of the sliding door. SOLUTION: This guide device of a sliding door is formed by a door header rail fitted to the door header, and a door roller 2 for a door header, which pivots a wheel frame for rotatably journalling a wheel fitted to the groove of the door header rail to be stopped to freely oscillate in the vertical direction in the main body case. The guide device of the sliding door is capable of moving the wheel frame 4 in the cross direction in the main body case by the operation of the adjust screw inserted throgh a front plate of the main body case, a spring 7 is provided for always energizing the wheel frame 4 upward, and the compression force can be varied by rotation of the adjust screw 5 inserted through the front plate of the main body case.
