摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a black matrix having a high electric resistance and a high optical density(OD) by using a mixture of at least two pigments including a resin coated carbon black and a metal oxide as a black pigment. SOLUTION: A photopolymerizable compound having an unsaturated double bond, a photopolymerization initiator, an alkali-soluble resin and a black pigment are incorporated. The black pigment is a mixture of at least two pigments including a resin coated carbon black and a metal oxide. The carbon black before coating is, e.g. channel black, acetylene black, furnace black or a mixture of two or more of these. The metal oxide is, e.g. CrO3, Cr2O3, MnO, Mn3O4 or Mn2O3 and a multiple oxide such as Mn2O3.CuO.Fe2O3 may be used.
