PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road map display device suitably displaying a road hidden by a stereoscopic display of buildings, etc., when a raster map is displayed and displaying present positional information, route information and traffic information, etc., in a form easy to see. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a raster map data storage means 101 storing the raster map data, a partially changing raster map data storage means 102 storing the partially changing raster map data for changing the display of the partial area of the raster map data and a map display control means 108 changing/displaying the partial raster map data with the partially changing raster map data, and is constituted so as to store the data clearly displaying the road hidden by the stereoscopic display of the buildings, etc., on the raster map data as the partially changing raster map data. Thus, the road hidden by the stereoscopic display of the buildings, etc., on the raster map data is displayed clearly.
