PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple color electrophotographic device capable of improving a machine speed by minimizing the value of an image forming interval as well as the length of recording paper in the traveling direction. SOLUTION: In this multiple color electrophotographic device for transferring/ forming the multiple color toner image on an endless intermediate transfer body 3 through a photoreceptor by confronting plural toner carriers carrying color toner levers for every color to the photoreceptor along the photoreceptor rotary direction, and successively bringing the toner layers for every color into contact with the photoreceptor on which the latent image is formed by the exposure, the interlatent image pass time on the photoreceptor from the latent image formable area trailing end to the subsequent latent image formable area leading end for every color is set to >=0.3 sec, and the ineguslity of of 1<L/S<=1.2 is satisfied when defining the transporting direction maximum length of the adopting recording medium as S, and the peripheral length of an endless transfer body as L. |
