A process for preparing a moisturising composition, by preparing a homogenous mixture comprising, a) about 12 parts lecithin b) about 12 parts vegetable wax c) about 24 parts plant derived oils d) about 9.6 parts glycerine e) about 30 parts chamomile extract f) about 60 parts aloe vera gel g) about 1.2 parts tragacanth gum h) about 6 parts steryl alcohol i) about 102 parts water, including effusions of plant extracts. To this mixture is added one or more essential oils, as defined in the specification, and a preservative comprising brandy or vodka (about 0.1%v/v).
