2-(Substituted phenylimino)pyrimidine derivatives represented by general formulae (1a) and (2a) which are efficaciously usable in, for example, repelling, exterminating or controlling pests such as arthropods (insects and mites), nematodes, helminthes and protozoa which damage crop plants and cattle under growing and harvested crops in agriculture and animal husbandry, woods and ornamental plants.
