PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sprinkle a powder material such as pepper or a seasoning simply and uniformly by rotating an inner cover with holes and an outer cover with slits. SOLUTION: A container 1 containing powder is combined with an inner cover 2 with holes according to a content and an outer cover 3 with radial slits. The outer cover 3 is rotated interlockingly with the shaft of a rotary apparatus 4, and it is rotated about 90 deg. when an external lever is pulled. The slits and holes are not overlapped in the stopped state, thus the content is not leaked or wetted. A tubular object is fitted to the lower section of the rotating portion to prevent the scattering of powder. When this container 1 is used, a required quantity can be sprinkled at the required place without scattering the content. Sprinkling can be made with one hand, and the other hand can be conveniently used for another work.
