PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-transfer image-receiving sheet, and an image-forming method, wherein an image defect due to the peeling off of an image receiving layer film is not generated at the time of a heat-transfer recording, and also, a decoloration and a bleeding at an edge are not generated when a recorded image is stored at a high temperature and in a high moisture atmosphere for a long period of time, the acceptability for a coloring matter is high, and the gloss property of the surface of an image is excellent. SOLUTION: In this heat-transfer image receiving sheet to be used for an image forming method wherein an ink sheet containing a thermally diffusing coloring matter, and an image receiving sheer on which an image receiving layer to receive the coloring matter is provided, are superimposed, and in response to a recording signal, the sheets are heated along an image, and the coloring matter of the ink sheet is transferred on the image receiving layer, for the image receiving sheet, an image-receiving layer containing a copolymer resin of which the essential components are at least styrene and acrylonitrile, is provided on a supporting body constituted of a plastic, and between the supporting body and the image receiving layer, an intermediate layer containing a compound selected from an acrylic acid or a methacrylic acid and derivatives thereof, is provided. |
