<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deposition of Sb and Bi on an electrolytic cell and electrolytic copper, to obtain a high-quality product electrolytic copper and to reduce the repetition of Cu, Sb and Bi in the refining stage by using a waste liq. from an electrolytic refining stage as the liq. to be supplied to an electrolytic extraction stage and the waste liq. from the extraction stage as the liq. to be supplied to the refining stage. SOLUTION: Electrolytic refining and decoppering electrolysis are conducted in the same way as the conventional techniques. The electrolytic refining and extraction are conducted in this case, the waste liq. from the electrolytic cell in the refining stage added with only an ordinary additive is directly supplied to the electrolytic extraction tank, and further the waste liq. from the electrolytic cell in the extraction stage is supplied again to the electrolytic cell in the refining stage to make a cycle. As a result, the elution of Sb and Bi from the electrolytic reforming anode is effectively prevented, and the Sb and Bi are oxidized since the electrolytic extraction waste liq. is rich in dissolved oxygen and concentrated as an electrolytic slime. Consequently, the Cu electrodepositing on the cathode side forms high-quality electrolytic copper.</p> |
