PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and uniformly coat material pieces different in height dimension with an adhesive and/or a curing agent. SOLUTION: Material pieces are continuously supplied through a roller spreader and at least single surfaces of the surfaces of the material pieces are continuously coated with an adhesive and/or a curing agent. The material pieces are supplied to the nip between at least one pressure roller 260 including a cylinder 270 equipped with flexible bristles and one or more coating roller 240 to which the adhesive and/or the curing agent applied to the surfaces of the material pieces is supplied and, by this constitution, the adhesive and/or the curing agent is uniformly applied to the surfaces of the material pieces.
