摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize consumed electric power by impressing a control signal so that electric energy which is impressed on a motor is retained lower than a specified level in the initial motion of a vacuum cleaner and variably controlling the control signals in accordance with a deviation between a preset electric energy and an actual energy of the motor. SOLUTION: A volume switch 102 is controlled to clean at a required vacuum force when running a vaccum cleaner. During operation, a microcomputer 110 impresses a control signal to the gate terminal of a Triac 106, and in this time, the control signal is impressed so that the consumed energy of the motor M can be retained below 1,150 W. In this way, a vacuum force necessary for actuating the vacuum cleaner is generated therein. When a load increases due to suction of dust and the vacuum force decreases, the decrease of vacuum force is detected by voltage information of the AC source 104 inputted through an input terminal P10 and current information of the motor M obtained through the Triac 106, and the control signal is variably controlled in accordance with the voltage deviation.
