PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for bathing a wheelchair wherein taking a bath can be performed by a natural seating position while one seats on the wheelchair and which is clean and inexpensive and can be used even in a relatively narrow place such as at home. SOLUTION: An apparatus for bathing a wheelchair wherein a wheelchair 10 and a bathtub 12 being freely extended and contracted up and down are combined and the wheelchair 10 comprises a chair part 20 consisting of a seat part 14, a backrest part 16, armrest parts 18, etc., and a trestle part 26 supporting the chair part 20 by hanging it and provided with wheels 22 and a space 27 with a larger width than the height when the bathtub 12 is contracted at the lowest position is formed below the chair part 20 and a space 29 with an enough width for storing the side wall parts of the bathtub when the bathtub 12 is extended at the highest position is formed around the chair part 20, is provided. In addition, the apparatus for bathing the wheelchair wherein the top end of the bathtub 12 is hung from the trestle part 26 of the wheelchair 10 and fixed is provided.
