PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material for neurotization having nerve cell proliferation facilitation and axial fiber extending function capable of reproducing nerve by proliferating and repairing nerve cell or nervous tissue having damage, deficiency or the like by immobilizing a specific polypeptide on a base. SOLUTION: The material is obtained by immobilizing at least a peptide selected from the peptide expressed by the formula (X is H, CH3-CO or the like; A is an amino acid residue such as Ser or Thr; D, G or L are each an amino acid residue such as Ile, Val or the like; E is an amino acid residue such as Lys or Arg; J is an amino acid residue such as Gly or Ala; M is an amino acid residue such as Gly or Ala; Q is an amino acid residue such as Gly, Ala or the like or a peptide residue; Y is OH or NH2), peptide expressed by the sequence no. 8 to 14 and their salts, to a substrate (probably, covalent crosslinked gel of aliginic acid).
