PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a document conveying belt having no impair of copy quality, excellent appearance, good yield of a product and a core material filled without expansion or contraction and an automatic document feeder using the belt. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a document conveying belt 3 comprises an endless core material forming step of forming a core material having no expansion and no contraction and a predetermined width endlessly, a laminating layer forming step of forming a thermoplastic elastic material in an endless belt state, and a laminating step of sticking the laminating layer at least one surface of the core material. The automatic document feeder having the belt 3 has an endless belt-like core material formed of the material having no expansion and no contraction, and a laminating layer formed by laminating a thin endless belt-like elastic material to the document conveying surface side of the core material. |
