PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose for fire fighting in which a guiding function in the dark can be presented at a maximum while suppressing the quantity of fluorescent paints to be used to a minimum and a production method thereof. SOLUTION: Concerning the hose for fire fighting which is preserved in a state where a tubular hose main body 10 is pressed flat and coiled with its flat faces piled one on another or where the flat body 10 is suspended zigzag with plural supporting rods, fluorescent paints 3 over the full length of the main body 10 of hose are continuously or intermittently stuck at one of both the side edges of the flat main body 10 of hose at least.
