PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle subdivided plates and to simplify subdividing plate attaching/detaching work by providing subdivided plate storage parts at the outer peripheral edge of a collar part, and storing the subdivided plates with rollers in the storage parts. SOLUTION: In this subdivided plate storage drum, an iron or steel channel member of U-shape cross section is integrally fitted to the outer peripheral edge of a collar part in the iron drum to form lateral channel type storage parts 2. A subdivided plate 3 is provided with its end rollers, and the subdivided plate 3 is inserted from a subdivided plate storage opening to insert its ends into the storage parts 2. This process is successively repeated on a large number of subdivided plates to fill the outer periphery of the collar part with the subdividing plates 3 for delivery. After carried in, the subdivided plates 3 are detached in reverse procedure to the procedure and usable for the delivery of a cable. The subdivided plates 3 are stored again in the storage parts 2 of the drum through with service so as to recover the subdivided plates together with the drum.
