FIELD: production, storage and distribution of ice. SUBSTANCE: device for monitoring and control of ice level in container for ice storage has radiator installed inside container and detector installed opposite to radiator. Impulse circuit controls radiator making it generate pulse train triggering the detector. Receiving circuit generates signal in response to detected pulse train. Controller switches on freezer in response to signal of receiving circuit. EFFECT: improved ice level control systems owing to possibility of use of small-size radiator/detector pairs of low cost. 3 cl, 10 dwg
