The cooling process involves cooling the correcting tool (16) with a directed coolant jet (20) at a pressure of several bars, so that the tool is enclosed in coolant (K) when it is against the grindstone (18). The tool is in a holder consisting of a base part (1) and a clamping part (10). There are coolant channels (5, 11) in both these parts.
