DISLPAY RACK WITH MAGNETIZED WEDGE LOCK ELEMENTS

A display rack (10) is provided in which a plurality of shelves (14a-c) are mounted in at desired locations along vertical corner posts (12a-d) by magnetized wedge lock elements (18). Each wedge lock element (18) is of a on e- piece construction having an outwardly extending projection (56) adapted to seat within a dimple or detent (28) vertically spaced along a surface or corner (58) of the corner posts (12a-d). The shelves (14a-c) are formed with a sleeve (16a-d) at each corner adapted to fit over the corner posts (12a-d) a nd into engagement with the wedge lock elements (18). The wedge lock elements (18) become wedged between the corner posts (12a-d) and sleeves (16a-d) to prevent downward vertical movement of the shelves (14a-c) relative to the corner posts (12a-d) while permitting easy adjustment of the shelves (14a-c) by moving the magnetized wedge locks (18) to a new position along the corner posts (12a-d).
