PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire producing method holding tire durability and putting a conventional production equipment into practical use by a small sum of equipment investment to markedly enhance unvulcanized tire molding efficiency. SOLUTION: A pair of the centering elements 16 positioned at the opposed inside parts of the bead part of the green case 14 held to the periphery of a second molding drum are moved in opposite directions to press the inside of the bead part and the inner periphery of the bead part is pressed by a pair of lock elements 20 to fix the green case 14 to the second molding drum and, after the holding of the green case 14 is released, the green case 14 is expanded and deformed by the width contraction and expansion of the second molding drum and a pair of the side rubber members 15 preliminarily wound around a pair of side bladder units on both sides of the lock elements 20 are expanded and reversed by the expansion of side bladders to be bonded to the green case 14.
