<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To leak air from a fluid chamber in a liquid pressure tensioner. SOLUTION: This hydraulic tensioner 10 is constituted by a housing 20 formed with a hole 23 defining a chamber 22, hollow piston 40 slidably received in the hole 23, having an upper end 44 formed with an opening hole 46, spring 60 energizing the piston 40 in a protruding direction from the hole 23, check valve 100 provided between a chamber 22 and a pressurized fluid source to allow fluid to flow into the chamber 22 and to impede its reverse flow flow path 24 provided in the housing 20 for connecting the chamber 22 to the pressurized fluid source, and a disk-shaped vent 70 arranged between the chamber 22 and the opening hole 46 of the piston 40 and having a plurality of metal plates arranged in a juxtaposed relation.</p> |
