COLOR VIDEO PROCESSING DEVICE AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color video processing device and its method. SOLUTION: The processing device includes a color conversion section 206 that uses prescribed N lighting colors to conduct conversion of a light source for a received RGB signal and conducts light source conversion with a color temperature of an output device to output an RGB signal whose light source is converted, and the color conversion section 206 has a means that uses prescribed N lighting colors to covert a light source for the signal in an RGB space into a light source of a signal in a prescribed color space and a means that converts the light source of the signal in the prescribed color space into the light source in the RGB space by using prescribed M color temperatures with respect to a display means. Thus, a color video in a natural color or in a preferred color is obtained without information on a light source.
