PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connection system which prevents another person from assuming a legitimate user due to the leakage of user confirmation information and connecting in an unauthorized manner to a computer, etc., of a remote monitoring center. SOLUTION: This remote monitoring center 1 is provided with a user confirmation information table 1b, a monitor table 1d and a connection processing part 1b which once disconnects line connection after acquiring a monitor ID, a user ID and a password from a terminal, when it is subjected to line connection with the terminal, retrieves the user confirmation information to acquire a password corresponding to the user ID, compares a password acquired as a result of retrieval with the password from the terminal, retrieves the monitor table when they match, acquires the telephone number corresponding to the monitor ID from the terminal and dials to perform line connection. Then, the terminal 2 is subjected to line connection with the remote monitoring center, notifies a monitor ID, a user ID and a password and is connected to the computer of the remote monitoring center, when an incoming call from the remote monitoring center is confirmed, after the line connection is once disconnected.
