PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desktop display unit capable of stably supporting a display plate for text information only by inserting a bottom edge, as well as reasonably being packed without bulking up in carrying or storing a number of units. SOLUTION: This unit is laid on the desk includes combination of a frame 1 made of extruding shape material, a display faceplate 3 attached to the frame 1, and a base plate 5. As for the frame 1, about a half part from the center of a cross section 1 is swollen forward as a hollow bulging part 7, a recessed groove 8 to which the display faceplate is inserted with slanting backward is provided on the upper end adjacent to the backside of the bulging part, and a stepped notch to which the base plate is inserted from the back is provided on the bottom end. The base plate is screwed down on the top of the notch 9 provided on the structural angle-shaped frame 1.
