摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate intake/exhaust valves, to reduce weight and size, and to realize high torque by forming the optional number of cylinders in the radial direction in a rotor, and continuously connecting pistons fitted to and installed in the respective cylinders to a crankshaft extending by penetrating through the rotor. SOLUTION: Hollow rotor shafts 2, 3 are integrally formed in a rotor 1, the optional number of cylinders 4, 5 are formed in the radial direction, and pistons 6, 7 in the respective cylinders 4, 5 are continuously connected through connecting rods 11, 12 to cranks 9, 10 of a crankshaft 8 penetratingly supported by the rotor shafts 2, 3. This rotor 1 is rotatably housed in a housing 13 for forming a suction hole 14, spark plugs 16, 17 and an exhaust hole on the periphery. A bevel gear 22 arranged in an end part of the rotor shaft 3 facing in a beval gear chamber is meshed so as to interlock with a beval gear 23 on the crankshaft 8 through beval gears 24, 25 to perform four strokes by single rotation of the crankshaft 8 and the rotor 1 to generate motive power.
