PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic slicer of which the cutting feeling at the time of slicing vegetables and fruits, e.g. cucumber, radish, carrot, cabbage, apple, tomato and the like, can be maintained for long. SOLUTION: A ceramic-made blade 11 is composed so as to shape a blade part with a edge of which the angle is 23-27 deg. at least on one side of the board of which the thickness is 0.6-1.5 mm and so that the surface roughness (Ra) of at least one of the two faces which compose the blade part is 0.3-0.5μm. For the ceramic of the blade 11, various kinds can be used, e.g. zirconia, silicon carbonate, silicon nitride and the like. Especially, zirconia ceramic of which the intensity and tenacity are high is preferable. Concretely, zirconia ceramic of which the high-intentional part is stabilized, which consists of ZrO2 as the main 2-4 mol% of Y2O3 as stabilizing agent and tetragonal crystals of 80 mol% or more, and of which the average diameter of the crystal grains is 2μm or smaller is used.
