PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To entirely unnecesitate the need of the surface processing of a roller to fix magnetic toner and to smooth the surface of the toner only by adding a simple device by fusing the surface of the magnetic toner by blowing hot air toward a character printing part. SOLUTION: By a temperature sensor 24-2, temperature near the surface of the magnetic toner fixed on paper is detected. When the detected temperature rises to a previously set temperature, a driving instruction is given to a paper carrying control part 22 so as to actuate paper carrying controllers 22a and 22b. In this case, the carrying speed of the paper is controlled so as to be a set speed by the control part 22. Thus, bill paper is carried by a pair of carrying roller mechanisms and processed with the hot air when it is passed under a heater part 24. Thereafter, it is carried to the position of next post-processing process. When the hot air processing of the MICR character printing line printed on the bill is executed, only the surface of the toner is fused and the rugged part thereof is smoothed.
