摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity universal joint of tripod type with less vibration by further reducing induced thrust generated in the case of transmitting rotational torque while an operating angle is formed with an outer side joint member and a tripod member. SOLUTION: A vertical distance PCR1 between a center line L1 including the center O3 of an external peripheral surface 4b of an outside roller 4 to be orthogonal to an axis Z of a leg shaft 2a and a joint center O and a vertical distance PCR2 between a center line L2 including the center O1 of an external peripheral surface 3b of an inside roller 3 in a condition that it is pressed to the leg shaft base end side and to be orthogonal to the axis Z of the leg shaft 2a and the joint center O are deviated byΔH (=PCR1-PCR2). In an optimum condition, the PCR2 is displaced to the leg shaft base end side by an optimum amountΔH from the PCR1, and a contact position S between an internal peripheral surface 4a of the outside roller 4 and the external peripheral surface 3b of the inside roller 3 is positioned on the center line L1 (on PCR1) of the external peripheral surface 4b of the outside roller 4.
