PURPOSE: An iron plate cutting device is provided to improve the support by reducing the length of a rotating shaft holding a cutting blade, and to cut a packing plate precisely by adjusting a gap between upper and lower blades. CONSTITUTION: Short sides of rotating shafts(6,8) are protruded in upper and lower parts of a body(2). A groove(24) is formed in the body, and the support of round cutting blades(20,22) is hardened to cut precisely and smoothly. The rotating shaft is composed of a guide shaft(28) and a supporting shaft(30) inserted to the guide shaft. An adjusting unit(32) is installed in the supporting shaft, and thread-connected to the guide shaft to rotate. A gap between the cutting blades is adjusted according to tightening or loosening the adjusting unit. Upper and lower round cutting blades are installed and replaced promptly and conveniently. A cutting apparatus prevents accidents, and lengthens the lifespan.
