PURPOSE: A method for switching an operation mode is to allow mode switching by inputting either a channel up/down key or a numeric key, not by inputting functional key several times, when switching again to a TV mode while selecting and performing an AV mode. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of: determining if a current operation mode is an AV mode when a TV is turned on by a user's selection(201S); deciding whether the key input corresponds to a numeric key or a channel up/down key or not(204S), when the key is inputted according to the user's selection while a TV mode operating; if not, continuing the step of deciding the key input(204S), and if so, deciding again whether the key input corresponds to the channel up/down key(205S); and, if so, switching to the TV mode of the channel concerned(206S), and if not, shifting to the channel corresponding to the inputted numeric key and switching to the TV mode(207S). |
