PURPOSE: An injection cylinder of a forming press is provided to inject precisely and lengthen the lifespan of products by preventing the edge of a supporting plate from being bent at injection-forming a resin molding in a semiconductor chip. CONSTITUTION: An injection cylinder is composed of a piston(100) fixed in the lower part of a driving plate(25); a cylinder(200) lifting in supplying hydraulic pressure to the upper part of the piston, and falling in supplying hydraulic pressure to the lower part of the piston; rods(300,310) arranged between the cylinder and a supporting plate(32) to move the supporting plate up along a slide groove(340) of the driving plate in lifting the piston; and a pressure pin(33) forming a resin molding in a semiconductor chip by pressing the resin in lifting the supporting plate by the rod. The edge of the supporting plate is prevented from being bent downward with supporting the edge by the rod arranged between the cylinder and the supporting plate in forming the resin molding in the semiconductor chip.
