PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a cylinder for a stirling cycle engine and to manufacture it highly accurately. SOLUTION: An heat absorbing fin 4A and a heat radiating fin 5A are provided inside a head part 1B side and inside an opening 1C side of a cylinder body 1 respectively. The heat absorbing and the heat radiating fins 4A, 5A are held by an assembling jig 14. The assembling jig 14 is inserted to be fitted in the cylinder body 1 having a plated layer composed of copper or copper alloy and a pasted soldered layer formed thereon. Then, the heat absorbing fin 4A and the heat radiating fin 5A are locked with a second stage part and a third stage part respectively and the heat radiating fin 5A is locked with the first stage part 13 so as to be positioned. After heat is applied to the soldered layer to melt the soldered layer it is solidified so as to fix the heat absorbing and the heat radiating fins 4A, 5A thereto. The heat absorbing and heat radiating fins 4A, 5A are provided inside the cylinder body 1 so as to be miniaturized. The assembling jig and the soldered layer can facilitate the assembling.
