PURPOSE:A stick-shaped powder cosmetic that is prepared by compressing a composition of a mixture of talc and kaolin as a powder base, other desired components and magnesium oxide into a stick form, thus showing good form retention and good spread on skin. CONSTITUTION:A powder base is prepared by mixing talc with kaolin at a ratio of prepferably 4/6-6/4. The resultant powder base is combined with other desired components, preferably magnesium stearate, and magnesium oxide in a proportion of 60-80:6-12: more than 2, preferably 3-5, in percentage and the composition is compressed into sticks, thus producing the objective stick-shaped powder cosmetic. EFFECT:High form-retention sticks are readily produced only by compressing the resultant composition with high steadiness. USE:Anhidrotic stick, baby powder and so on. |
