PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof-like cord heater assembly having a lead wire part formed in series which is suitably used when required water proofness in such as keeping warmth and heating a crank case of an air conditioner, a dehumidifier or the like and preventing a pipe drain of a refrigerating machine from freezing, and which is capable of making conventionally-required troublesome connecting machining processing and waterproof processing for a connecting part between a cord heater and a lead wire unnecessary and capable of reducing cost to a great extent by forming a lead wire part on both ends of the cord heater in series. SOLUTION: A waterproof cord heater assembly includes a lead wire part formed in series on both ends of a cord heater having a metal resistance wire wound in spiral on a heater core. The lead wire part is formed by traversely wound an electric good conductor between the heater core and the metal resistance wire comprising the cord heater.
