PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed EL lamp having a high yield formable by printings of fewer times and causing little short-circuiting between electrodes and fewer breakdown strength failures. SOLUTION: Plural pieces of conductive pattern 11 formed into stripes with a designated interval between are divided into two groups of plural alternate pieces to make first and second electrodes 14, 15 by connecting these pieces in each group together, and a luminescent body layer 12 is formed by distributing phosphor so as to cover the conductive pattern 11. Thereby, a distributed EL lamp requiring fewer times of printing, causing little short-circuiting between electrodes and also causing fewer breakdown strength failures can be materialized.
