CENTRIFUGAL FORCE LOAD DEVICE CAPABLE OF SHOT IMPACT EXPERIMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal force load device capable of shot impact experiments hitherto incapable. SOLUTION: A device 8 which injects a flying object 10 (a sample projectile) by gas pressure is attached to an arm 3 of a centrifugal force load device so as to shoot the flying object 10 for a soil tank 6 for tests on a swing platform 4a substantially horizontally inclined outward in loading a centrifugal force. In the injection device 8 a flying object 10 is mounted in sabot, and a sabot retainer and a vent hole are provided at an end of a muzzle 11 so as to block injection gas in the muzzle 11 for preventing the soil in a soil tank 6 for tests from blowing off. An injection speed of the flying object 10 can be measured by an optical means.
