PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make early settable a running plan when a vehicle is running along a guide route. SOLUTION: In the onboard navigation apparatus, routes from the present position obtained by an operating device for a position of the vehicle or an optional starting point on a map at a display device input from an input device to a destination on the map at the display device input from the input device are searched for and a guide route is displayed at the display device. In the navigation apparatus, information on points where the vehicle has approached or is approaching is retrieved in the range ahead of an advance direction of the vehicle of the guide route. |
