PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely make a sensor housing waterproof by mounting a sealing stopper having a water seal hole, through which a signal line for transmitting a signal detected by a magnetic sensor passes, in an opening of the sensor housing disposed outside a pipe for housing the magnetic sensor. SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor 6 for detecting magnetism is disposed in a housing 10 disposed close to the outside of a passage pipe, resulting in that an impeller rotates at a revolution number corresponding to the flow rate of a fluid flowing in the passage pipe 1 and the sensor 6 outputs a pulse signal corresponding thereto. Hence the flow rate can be converted and detected from the output signal of the sensor 6. The housing 10 is formed like a bottom-closed tube, and the sensor 6 is disposed near its bottom. An opening is sealed water tightly with a seal stopper 11 made of an elastic rubber, etc., and three water proof holes 15 for passing signal lines 8 pierce the stopper 11 and each have a plurality of pleats 16 midway. Thus the stopper 11 is fitted into the opening throat to enable the water proof.
