<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a point controller, to improve operability and to incorporate/install the controller in a notebook-type personal computer by detecting the pressure change of a pressurizing spring with a pressure change reaction element. SOLUTION: A pressure change reaction element 4 for detecting the positions of a vertical direction and lateral direction is fixed in a fixture 2. Two sliding body rails 9 and 10 are arranged and fixed in an L-shaped position relation. Pressurizing coil springs 7 and 8 are fitted between sliding bodies 11, 12 engaged slidably with the rails and coil spring fitting tools 5, 6 fitted to the tips of the pressure change reaction elements 3 and 4. Sliding board guides 13 and 14 installed above the sliding bodies 11 and 12 are engaged with sliding grooves 21 and 22 installed at the lower face of a sliding board 20. When the sliding board 20 is vertically/laterally sliding-operated by fingers, the sliding bodies 11 and 12 freely slide along the sliding body rails 9 and 10 with the sliding groves 21 and 22. The pressurizing coil springs 7 and 8 are extended/contracted with the movement and the change of force is given to the pressure change reaction elements 3 and 4. The pressure change reaction elements 3 and 4 generate electric signals with the pressure change.</p> |
