The various waste products are collected in designated containers (B1) within a central area. The locations of the waste collection points are identified by a coding integrated circuit chip on the building. Containers are collected by vehicles (F1,2) with capacity for holding multiple containers. The type of refuse is sorted (S) and is transported to the appropriate location.
