The invention concerns a method and system for election by a first population of persons, of at least a person selected from a second population of candidate-persons. The persons of said first population of persons (I, 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d), each have at their disposal an interactive graphic interface (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) comprising computing (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d) and control (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) members for actuating icons (6a, 6b, 6c, 6d) appearing on the interactive interface. The characteristics, in particular the physical characteristics, of the persons belonging to the second population of persons (II, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) are displayed (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) on the graphic interfaces. Said icons are activated, by means of said control members by the persons of the first population of persons who have decided to participate in the voting, in conformity with their choice.
