<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for visualizing data corresponding to master/slave independent type reference attribute mapping for increasing the expression variation of a graphic display application, and a storage medium storing the program. SOLUTION: In this data visualization method, classes being the origin of display graphics having a master/slave relation are stored in a display information data base 106. Then, a master/slave relation between the classes, a corresponding relation between the arrangement and shape (label, size, color, and shape) of graphics corresponding to objects included in the master class and the attribute of the master class, a corresponding relation between the arrangement and shape of the graphics of the slave class for each object of the master class and the attribute of the slave class, and an instruction related with a method for converting the attribute value into the arrangement and shape of the graphics are accepted. Then, the objects included in the both master/slave classes are called from the display information data base, and arrangement coordinates are decided so that the graphics corresponding to the objects of the slave class can be included in the graphics corresponding to the objects of the master class. Thus, the master/slave relation can be visually presented.</p> |
