The dispensing gun consists of a straight filling pipe(11) which by a robot arm is adjustable in its inclination to the horizontal so that the inclination of the filling pipe conforms to the angle of the tank filler neck(13). The filling pipe may have an elastic bellows-type element which bears against and seals the upper edge of the tank filler neck or the upper edge of an adaptor fitted on the filler neck.
