The seat has an operating lever (7) and associated counter element (17) which opposes the swivel movement of the operating lever initially with a high force and then with a lesser force. A cable pulley can be fixed on the operating lever. The counter element is attached at one end to a fixed part of the operating device and at the other end to the cable pulley.
