PROCESS DETERMINING COEFFICIENT OF TWIST OF THREADED CONNECTION

FIELD: construction industry, bridge construction, usage of metal structures. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for determination of tightening parameters of bolts. Nut is tightened by specified value of angle from initial position in used connection. Before this its tightening is loosened. Tightening torque of nut within region of elastic deformation is measured. Increment of tightening torque is found. Increment of tightening force of bolt is determined by calculation formula. Coefficient of twist of threaded connection is found as ratio of increment of tightening torque to product of increment of tightening force by its diameter. EFFECT: test of threaded connections under specific service conditions with increased accuracy of results.
