PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair in which a baggage such as a handbag or bag can be placed on the seat between the backrest of the chair and the lower back of a sitting person by bending the top portion of the backrest toward the front side that is arranged at the back of the seat of the chair main body. SOLUTION: The backrest 4 is bent toward the side of a sitting person from the upper part of the rear plate 3 of the chair having legs. The backrest 4 is positioned to be brought into contact with one of the places in the back of the user from his or her side and also the position of the sitting person is positioned forward to obtain a space for placing baggage from the rear plate 3. In case of its usage, the person sits down on the chair to permit his or her back to be brought into contact with the backrest 4. Then a storage space is formed between his or her waist and the rear plate 3 and baggage such as the handbag or the bag is stored. Thus, a robbery such as walking-away with anther's baggage is prevented so that the person safely enjoy talking and taking a rest.
