PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a label printer in which a worker is forced to check the date of processing and the limit date of consumption. SOLUTION: The label operating in a mode for printing a data including the date of processing, the limit date of consumption, and the like, onto a label as well as other modes comprises means for indicating the data of the date of processing, the limit date of consumption, and the like, when the power switch of a label printer is turned on (S100) or when switching is made to print mode from other mode and further indicating to input the decision results whether the date of processing is correct or not (S108), and means (S110, S112) for input the decision results whether the date of processing is correct or not.
