<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fabric that contains cellulosic fibers having excellent morphological stability, for example, wrinkle resistance, shrink resistance and the like as well as excellent water absorption and showing excellent antimicrobial properties and deodorizing properties. SOLUTION: This cellulosic fiber-containing fabric includes cellulosic fibers modified by crosslinking. The modified fiber by crosslinking has a crosslinking index of 1-4 according to the following definition of the formula, its water absorption is >=50 mm according to JIS L-1096 B-method. In addition, the fabric bears monovalent and/or divalent phosphoric ester groups and hydroxy groups and contains an antimicrobial resin comprising a vinyl copolymer bearing the phosphoric ester group that is converted to a quaternary ammonium salt: The crosslinking index = (A-B) (A: moisture absorption in % of the cellulosic fiber after the crosslinking modification at 30 deg.C, 90% RH; B: moisture absorption in % of the cellulosic fiber after the crosslinking modification at 20 deg.C, 65% RH).</p> |
